The Uniform Bar Exam is a 2-day licensing exam that consists of three parts: The Multistate Performance Test (MPT), the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE), and the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE). Day 1 Morning (MPT): The Multistate Performance Test consists of two 90-minute practical lawyering tasks that are administered in the morning of the 1st day of testing.
In order to pass the Connecticut bar exam, you must score at least 266. This equates to 133, based on the MBE’s 200-point scale. The scores of the exam sections are weighted as follows: MPT 20%, MEE 30%, and MBE 50%. Connecticut makes bar exam results available approximately 10 weeks after the February exam, and 9 weeks after the July exam.
